BoxlineBox is a company in San Diego, CA It was founded in 2005 by experienced partners in the medical and video industries. We specialize in the application of broadcast television technology and high production value to the world of medical education. We provide turnkey live surgery production for surgeons, hospitals and medical products manufacturers to enhance the value of CME, marketing and promotional events. We provide broadcast quality video editing and DVD production.

As a co-founder of Infomedix Communications in 1998, Mike Evans helped to create a revolution in the way that surgical procedures are presented. Through the use of videoconferencing technology many surgeons could learn a procedure from the comfort of a conference room standing in a crowded operating room.

Infomedix was acquired by Stryker Corporation in late 1999. As part Stryker Communications, he focused on live telemedicine using a variety of media transport to help surgeons and medical device manufacturers connect with a growing demand for live surgical education.

Now, as a founder of BoxlineBox, he has brought that experience to this company focused solely on providing the best live medical production possible. He is an expert in helping our clients choose the most cost effective and successful presentation possible.

Andrew Schultz has been involved in the broadcast television industry since 1989. He has designed, built, and used digital control rooms and non-linear editing facilities that changed the face of television. He is also helped pioneer video streaming over the Internet.

He joined Stryker Communications to bring this knowledge to the medical field. Working with Mike and other members of the team he designed the software interface and protocols that are used in operating rooms daily.

Now, as founder of BoxlineBox, he is using that expertise to design and implement live production systems that fit each client’s needs. He is also an accomplished non-linear video editor.
